Dr. Shawn Martin

-Dr. Martin is founder and clinic director of 1^st Stop Chiropractic in Louisville, Kentucky.  He earned his BS degree in biology at Memorial University and his Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa.  His love for Chiropractic and the Louisville area has led him to open multiple Chiropractic offices in Kentucky.

A former high school and college athlete, Dr. Martin knows the importance of health and wellness.  “The toothpaste industry has done a great job of educating us regarding brushing our teeth to prevent problems before they happen.  As a result of this most people are now living their entire lives with their real teeth instead of dentures!  Now that we are living longer and longer, we realize that taking care of our spine is of vital importance…like your teeth, you want to keep it healthy so problems don’t happen later.  After all, you can get new teeth, a kidney, even a heart…you cannot get a new spine. The number one reason for functional disability over the age of 50 is spinal disorders.  We want to be able to live, work and play without pain.  People spend a fortune nowadays trying to look younger….let me tell you, nothing makes you look older than having pain just moving around.”

-Celeste joined the 1st Stop Chiropractic team in Louisville in January and is eager to meet and help all our great patients!

-Angela is our Chiropractic Technician.  You will see her directing our Therapy Bay; applying such therapy as, E-stimulation, Intersegmental Traction, Ultrasound, and Therastim.

Melissa

-Melissa is our billing and collections specialist.  She is always available to help you with questions about your account or insurance plan.
